EDUCATION
Religious Education (K-8)
The overall purpose of this program is teaching our Catholic faith to children in grades K-8. Classes are conducted five
times a week. These children are also prepared to receive, as a class,
First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. Watch the
bulletin for information on registration and for the schedule of
classes.
Young People’s Sacramental Program
Young people in grades 3-12 are prepared to receive any of the
Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation and/or First Eucharist they
have not yet received. They are placed in an Initiation Class rather
than placing them in a class of younger children in the regular RE
program. They will receive the sacraments when they are deemed to be
ready.
Youth Group & Confirmation (9-12)
Students attend two years of confirmation classes in preparation to
receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. In conjunction with these
classes, the students also participate in the Youth Group which offers a
social setting for Christian living in today’s world.
