OUTREACH
The mission of the outreach ministries is to provide people-to-people
contact extending spiritual, emotional, social, and physical support.
Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound
Members of this ministry take Holy Communion to the homebound or to
those in assisted living centers or nursing homes. Contact Judy Sender,
OPL, at 625-4536, ext. 109 for information on training and scheduling.

Just Coffee
This endeavor enables Mexican people to live and be productive in
their own country by purchasing and selling the coffee they grow.

Martha Group
The main activity of this group is to provide a luncheon after a
funeral or memorial service.
Mission Helpers
This group meets monthly to sort and pack donated materials to be
used by missionaries abroad or in isolated areas. Contact Arline Sisson
at 648-3280 for more information.
Respect Life
The purpose of this ministry is to promote the sanctity of human
life from conception to natural death. Members take part in a number of
activities which can be found in the Parish Handbook.
Sandwiches for the Poor
Members of this ministry make sandwiches which are taken to shelters
in Tucson. Contact John Wozniak at 393-0374 for information on joining
this group.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers provide Christian care to the bereaved,
hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed,
relocated, lonely and aging, or with other needs.
A Stephen Minister is:
- a trained lay volunteer
- a good listener
- trained in confidentiality
- supervised for quality care
- ready to offer God’s love through a Christian caring
relationship on a one-on-one basis.

St. Vincent de Paul
Members of this ministry extend comfort, friendship, spiritual and
physical support to the poor and suffering. Financial assistance is
given when possible.
